The factory floor
Pallets of granules, film running on the machines, and wound reels stacked down the length of the bay.
Extrusion
Polymer granules drawn up into a continuous film bubble, cooled, collapsed and wound down onto reels.
Rotogravure printing
A nine-colour press. Each numbered station lays down one colour onto the moving web before the next picks it up in register.
Lamination
Printed film bonded to a second layer — foil or another film — to build the multilayer laminate a pack needs.
Slitting
The finished laminate rewound and slit down into the reel widths a customer’s filling line takes.
Pouch making
Laminate formed, side-sealed and cut into finished pouches, delivered onto the belt ready to be counted and packed.

Include the product, pack format or existing sample, approximate quantity and delivery location. Add the material, size, filling method and artwork if you have them. You can leave unknown details for the discussion.
What about minimum orders and lead times?
Ask us to confirm the minimum run and timing for your chosen format and quantity. Include your required delivery date so these can be discussed with the quotation.
How do artwork and printing costs work?
Tell us whether you have existing artwork or need a new print. Ask for any artwork, printing-cylinder or other setup charges to be identified in your quotation.
